Difficulty PC[]

This is where the difficulty of the game can be adjusted. It also shows the best achieved rank and time for the selected difficulty. Difficulties above Hard have to be unlocked first.

The available difficulties are as follows, in increasingly hard order:

  • Discovery
  • Easy
  • Standard
  • Hard
  • Guardian I

Crystal Machine[]

Crystal Machine

This machine only becomes available after collecting the first Power Crystal and is used to turn the effect of individual Power Crystals on or off, which is another way to influence the difficulty of the game. The Power Crystals make the final level easier, but in exchange make more elite enemies spawn throughout the whole run.
