Data Logs are hidden collectables scattered throughout most of the game which sometimes require other unlocks to become accessible. Furthermore, each Data Log awards the player with 3 Wrenches upon collection, incentivizing the player to look for them to speed up the basecamp upgrade process. Each Data Log contains a small amount of text and an image describing the world and characters therein.
Additionally, Data Logs are also needed to unlock the Roller and Metal Detector Gadgets.
In total, there are 51 Data Logs. The collection progress can be tracked in the Museum in the World section.
