Recon

The Recon is 1 of 6 playable classes in Roboquest. He is unlocked by taking down a boss in chapter 2.

His Primary Ability is Blink, it allows Recon to dash 6 meters forward. It deals damage and applies high to all enemies near the end of the dash and generates 2 stacks of combo.

His secondary ability is dagger, a melee weapon that deals 65 damage. Takedowns using it drop 2 additional healing cells and hits against bosses drop 3 healing cells.

Recon's Passive Ability is Overslash. Killing and using Blink generates combo. When at 5 stacks of combo next dagger hit consumes all stacks and deals 200% more damage. Overslash does not generate a stack of combo.

Class-Specific Neutral Perks[]

Perk Effect
Akimbo King Increase dual weapons damage by 15%.
Cold Oil Overslash requires 1 less combo to be triggered.
Overpower Adds 75% to Overslash bonus damage.



Primary and Secondary Perks[]

Each Primary Perk gets 2 Secondary Perk options once selected, either adding onto the effect of the Primary or complimenting it in some way.


Tactical Rush[]

Taking damage reduces cooldown of Blink by 2 seconds. Using Blink repairs all your Scratch Damage.

  • Kevlar Pad - Using Blink increases armor by 16% for 4 seconds.
  • Chromatic Backslash - Choose an element. Deals damage of that element to enemies dealing damage to you.


Relentless Pursuit[]

Using Blink increases firerate, reload speed, Dagger attack speed by 40% and movement speed by 18% for 6 seconds.

  • Locked and Loaded - Using Blink reloads your weapon and grants infinite ammo for 1.5 seconds.
  • Field Analysis - Blink explosion marks.


Chromatic Dash[]

Choose an element. Using blink triggers explosion of that element dealing 35 damage.

  • Elemental Core - Increase all element damage by 20%.
  • Elemental Catalyst - Dagger deals damage of chosen element.


Combat Decoy[]

Using Blink deploys a decoy that shoots enemies, dealing 5 damage every 0.2 seconds for 6 seconds.

  • Chromatic Mirage - Choose an element. Your decoy deals damage of that element.
  • Mocking Mirage - Increases decoy duration by 1.5s and it draws enemies' attention more efficiently.


Sharp Wave[]

Overslash fires a piercing arc over 9m and repairs all your scratch damage.

  • Tactical Slash - Hitting an enemy with Overslash reduces Blink cooldown by 2s
  • Signature Move - Overslash has 100% auto-critical chance.


Happy Slice[]

Hitting an enemy with Overslash increases weapons damage by 50% for 9s.

  • Speed Freak - While Happy Slice is active, increases firerate by 25% and movement speed by 12%.
  • Thick Skin - While Happy Slice is active, increases armor by 16%.


Cutlass[]

Transforms Dagger into Cutlass. Increases its damage by 35% and attack speed by 25% but decreases Overslash initial bonus damage to 150%.

  • Alacrity - Hitting an enemy with Dagger increases movement speed by 12% and armor by 12% for 3s.
  • Mighty Blow - Increases Dagger auto-critical chance by 10% and its critical damage by 15%.


Close Combat[]

Increases weapons damage by 40% against enemies within 7.5m and Dagger damage by 15%.

  • Frontliner - While at least one enemy is within 7.5m, increases armor by 16%.
  • Phase Shift - Taking down an enemy within 7.5m or hitting a boss with Dagger reduces Blink cooldown by 0.5s.


Favorite Weapon[]

Increases Dagger damage by 15%, weapons damage by 25% and reload speed by 20% but reduces your weapon slots by 1.

  • Ninja Reload - Every 4s, your next reload is instant and throws 3 explosive shurikens dealing 15 damage and marking enemies hit.
  • Combo Dynamo - Blink generates 5 combo.


Robo-Fuel[]

Gathering a healing-cell generates 1 Robo-Fuel point for 2s (max. 16). Each point increases all damage, firerate, reload speed, Dagger attack speed by 1% and movement speed by 0.5%.

  • Special Mix - Increases auto-critical chance by 1% for each Robo-Fuel point.
  • Big Tank - Increases Robo-Fuel maximum points to 20 and increases their duration to 2.25s.


Improved Critical[]

Critical damage has a 25% chance to deal 80% increased damage.

  • Good Fortune - Increases auto-critical chance by 10%.
  • Pressure Point - Hitting an enemy with Overslash grants your next critical damage 100% chance to trigger Improved Critical bonus damage.


Top Quality[]

On first 33% ammo, increases weapons damage by 25%.

  • Top 50 - Increases Top Quality activation threshold to first 50% ammo.
  • Overload - Hitting an enemy with Overslash reloads your weapon and grants infinite ammo for 1.5s.


Simple Geometry[]

Critical damage ricochets on 1 enemy within 9m, dealing 50% damage.

  • Greeting Shot - Increases your first hit critical damage against an enemy by 30%.
  • Prime Target - Critical damage against marked enemies triggers 1 additional ricochet.


Scanning Protocol[]

Every 6s, your next weapon shot marks. Taking down a marked enemy spreads the mark to another enemy within 9m.

  • Designated Target - Marks enemies dealing damage to you.
  • Improved Analysis - Increases all damage by 15% against marked enemies.


Trueshot[]

Using Blink generates 4 charges (max. 4). Your next weapon shot consumes a charge to deal 100% increased damage.

  • Big Game Hunting - Increases Trueshot bonus damage to 250% against goliaths and bosses.
  • Hocus Pocus - Taking down an enemy (or hitting a boss) with Dagger generates 1 charge.


Shutdown[]

Instantly executes enemies with less than 15% health remaining and bosses with less than 4% health remaining.

  • Circuit Breaker - Increases Shutdown execution threshold with Dagger to 30% on enemies and 8% on bosses.
  • Blue-Screen - Your first hit against a common enemy has 12% chance to instantly execute it.
