The Rift is one of three corrupted maps in Chapter 1. It is set in a corrupted canyon full of puddles and vegetation. Access to it is locked behind a time-gated door in the break area of Oasis, which is only open when the player reaches it before the in-game timer reaches 3:00. To clear this map, the player has to navigate the map fast enough to defuse the bomb before the timer ticks down and collect the blue Power Crystal. Scattered throughout the map are rails and yellow orbs which drastically increase the players movement speed for a few seconds.
This map is unique in that it features no enemies at all, the only threat is the timer. Failing to defuse the bomb results in a Game Over.

The map can roughly be divided into 4 subareas:
- the entry area where the player spawns
- the main area where the parkour happens
- the bomb room
- the Power Crystal room

The Rift is only accessible from Oasis. Access to it is locked behind a time-gated door, which is only open when the player reaches it before the in-game timer reaches 3:00.
Next Maps[]
There is only one potential next map available from The Rift: going through the map, defusing the bomb and collecting the Power Crystal leads to Fields.
Power Crystal[]
The Rift is home to the blue Power Crystal. Access to it is locked behind a bomb which has to be defused. Once it has been defused, the player can progress to the next room and collect the blue Power Crystal, upon whose collection they will continue to the next map.
The blue Power Crystal has two effects, which can be turned off and on at the Crystal Machine in the Basecamp:
- Effect on The Moon: Slows IRIS's overcharge speed.
- Permanent Effect: Rolling Foot: Increases base movement speed by 5%.
